Sports Fit is a new program designed to improve young athletes.
This is not a Ninja Program. This is a fitness and performance improvement program focused on 6-12 year olds. It is high intensity.
We are incorporating many principles from the famous P90X workout program and adapting them for young athletes. We are focusing on flexibility, core strength, balance, speed and agility. This program will help your child excel in sports as well as reduce their chance for injury.
Yoga – Yoga is well known to increase strength and flexibility, while lowering the chances of injury while participating in sports.
Plyometrics – Plyometrics (jump training) is high impact training which increases leg strength, speed and agility. If your child plays basketball, soccer, football or just about any other sport, plyometrics will give them the edge to excel and leave the competition in the dust!
Core Strength – We will focus on body weight excercises to in increase core strength. Think old-fashioned pull-ups, push-ups, sit-ups and other excercises to strenthen essential areas.
